John Wayne Airport hosts two captivating art exhibitions: “Endless Summer” and “No Touching.” Running from November 10, 2023, to March 10, 2024, in the Vi Smith Gallery.
“Endless Summer” by Betsy Enzensberger and Sarah Stieber celebrates the sunny spirit of Orange County. Located in Terminal A, Enzensberger’s resin sculptures showcase 82 custom resin popsicles, while Stieber’s “Water” series features lively pool-themed paintings. Both works invite viewers into vibrant scenes of a seemingly never-ending summer.

In Terminal C, the exhibit “No Touching” challenges the separation between art and viewer. This exhibition transforms glass display cases with large-scale, site-specific creations by diverse artists: Debbie Carlson, Alex Gano, Karen Gibson Roc, Margaret Griffith, Barbara Holmes, Flora Kao, Laura Koffman, Olga Lah, Stevie Love, Stephanie Sherwood, Amanda Yamashita, and Threadwinners.
Post-security access to the Vi Smith Gallery is available with an OC AirPASS. For OC AirPASS details, visit http://www.ocair.com/travelers/services/oc-airpass/. Contact Curator Heather Bowling at hbowling@ocair.com for information on the John Wayne Airport Arts Program.
