The United Airlines team from John Wayne Airport came together on April 20 to celebrate Earth Day 2024 by volunteering to help restore and prevent erosion at Crystal Cove State Park in Newport Beach.
Volunteers assisted in installing water bars and transported decomposed granite to catch rain and divert it off the trail. They also helped trim vegetation on the boardwalk to help restore and provide a clear path from the parking lot to the beach.
JWA’s United team participates in Earth Day along with several other activities throughout the year to give back to the community.
