You may not have heard of Addison “Kaboom Town” Texas, but it is right outside of Dallas and has been named among the top fireworks shows in the country for more than three decades. It’s a small town with a big show, including a festival, air show and of course, fireworks.
The “Seafair Summer Fourth” celebration in Seattle provides a fun festival prior to a 21-minute fireworks display over Lake Union. The show features a unique water-based opening display followed by nearly 8,500 pounds of fireworks choreographed to a Seafair musical score.
Of course, if you’re flying, leave the firework displays to the professionals. Fireworks are not allowed on airplanes, in checked or carry-on baggage
