Southwest Airlines resumed daily nonstop service to Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta on March 11, 2021, expanding John Wayne Airport’s route map to include more than 30 nonstop destinations and bring additional travel options to guests.
Regulations require a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to your return from Mexico. If you are planning a quick weekend trip, Hoag is now providing COVID-19 Rapid Testing at John Wayne Airport, with results available within 15-30 minutes. Receive a negative test before your flight on Friday, and you’re cleared for re-entry on Sunday!
Hoag Rapid Testing is located in Terminal B on the Departure (upper) Level before security screening. Testing is open to prospective travelers and community residents for $139, and is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Coming this Spring, Hoag will also open a “Fly Well” Clinic in Terminal B for ticketed passengers and arriving guests to offer urgent care services with access to office visits, telehealth consultations, vaccinations, treatment of minor illnesses/injuries, and prescriptions.
