John Wayne Airport released the 2022 Annual Report, which shares our recent progress – including some all-time highs – and our exciting plans to reach new horizons.
Last year, the Airport posted the highest-ranking passenger totals of all time nearly every week, starting in June, with the all-time highest in October. We also saw more than one million passengers for seven consecutive months. And, based on our 2022 Passenger Survey, 94% of passengers rated their John Wayne Airport experience a four or five out of five!
We expect even more exciting changes in the future. Our plans include an ambitious infrastructure upgrade program, new partnerships with community organizations, and more outreach to our local residents and neighbors. All of which strengthens our engagement in Orange County and further enhances our guest experience.
We are evaluating where we’ve been and reimagining where we’re going—a bold paradigm shift for our future. As the aviation industry continues to grow, we’ll be focused on all the right things—innovation, diversity, and forward-looking initiatives around growth and sustainability.
