John Wayne Airport Real Property Agent, Jessica Dixon, was recognized by the Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) as the 2019 Concessions Person of the Year. As a Real Property Agent, Jessica increased several concessionaire’s revenues by 40 percent, and her role in planning, development, and public outreach for the Airport’s Concession Program has led to the most progressive concession redevelopment program in the Airport’s history.

ACI-NA’s 2019 Excellence in Airport Concessions Awards promote the innovative spirit of the airport concessions industry and recognize excellence in airport concessions programs. The awards were announced at the annual Business of Airports Conference held June 11 in Scottsdale, AZ. More than 600 commercial management, business diversity, human resource and finance representatives from the North American airport industry attended the conference.
