Guests traveling through John Wayne Airport in December were greeted with seasonal surprises and delights through an interactive and engaging “Merry Moments” campaign designed to promote existing and future Airport tenants, add seasonal ambiance, and bring holiday cheer to travelers.
There were three opportunities for guests to participate. Those who spent $10 or more on a purchase from any Airport store or restaurant received complimentary Airport goodies. Guests who shared their creative social media posts of all things “holiday” at the Airport could show their post at the redemption booth to receive a fun giveaway. Most popular was the spin and win wheel that traveled throughout the Terminal, encouraging guests to take a spin to win special gifts from Airport retailers, restaurants, and rental car companies, as well as JWA logo items.
Traveling passengers were also treated to holiday performances by JWAlive professional musicians and carolers, along with Orange County high school choirs and bands.
